    Rose Brooks Center is about saving lives. We not only protect hundreds of adults, children and their pets who need our emergency shelter to escape life-threatening abuse, but thousands of families in the community who need support and resources. You are not alone.

    If you need immediate assistance, please call our 24-hour crisis hotline, 816-861-6100. We can provide crisis intervention, safety planning, connection to domestic violence resources, and assistance in English and Spanish with access to language services through an interpreter.

    Safety Plans and Resources

    Before you attempt to leave or take any legal or financial steps to separate from your abuser, you should be aware that the danger of violence escalates when an individual attempts to leave. This safety plan is a tool to assist you in identifying options.

    Refund Policy
    This is the Donation Refund Policy for Rose Brooks Center. Rose Brooks Center collects donations on its website to support our mission. If you believe that an error has been made in connection with your online donation, please contact katym@rosebrooks.org. We will endeavor to work with you to correct any such error, and if necessary, make any refund or correction that is appropriate. If you change your mind about donating online to Rose Brooks Center, we are happy to honor your decision as long as you request a refund (return of donation) with 5 business days of the date on which you made the contribution.
