Crisis Intervention For Patients and You –

Bridge advocates are available 24/7 to meet on-site with patients and staff who are experiencing domestic violence, and connect them with community resources.

Training and Systems Change –

We train health care providers to recognize signs and symptoms of violence, and how to talk to patients about what is happening in their relationship. Bridge advocates also meet with an assigned domestic violence task force in each hospital, and work throughout Kansas City to strengthen agency partnerships, increase awareness, and educate first-responders to provide more resources for victims of violence.

Confidential Support for Everyone –

The Bridge Program is committed to nondiscrimination. Our services are available to all victims of intimate partner violence without regard to race, color, national origin (including limited English proficiency), religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability or age.
