April is Sexual assault awareness month and we want to to connect and empower our community to stand against sexual assaults by teaching self-defense techniques, build confidence, and provide a network of people and resources for those in need.

The seminar starts at 10am with a 1 hour lunch break at 12pm with Pura Vida Açaí food truck.

They will be located at the parking lot of the academy.

The only way to gain access to this seminar is to bring a donation for the Rose Brooks Center. You can choose to donate an item(s) from their donation list or monetary donation.

Immediate needs list
– Individually wrapped shelf stable snacks: Granola bats/fruit cups/chips/crackers, etc…

– Women’s size small pajamas

– Basic needs: Body wash, shampoo, conditioner, textured hair products, baby wipes, cleaning supplies

– cat litter (unscented)

– monetary donations are always welcomed
