October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month

Domestic violence impacts millions of people each year, but it can be prevented. It requires the collective voice of individuals, families, businesses, and systems – each whose voice adds a valued and powerful component to prevention, awareness, and reminding victims and survivors, “You are not alone. There is help and there is hope.” To which we add. . . Rose Brooks is here.

Your Voice Matters

Why Your Voice Matters?

1 in 4 women and 1 in 7 men will be victims of domestic violence at some point in their lives. In 2020, Rose Brooks Center Hotline advocates spoke with 8,399 individuals who were seeking safety and resources – offering them help and hope. But we can’t do this work alone. It takes a community of people who are willing to use their voice to raise awareness and take a stand against domestic violence.

We stand for a world without violence. Will you stand with us too?
